PRODUCTS MADE WITH REAL INGREDIENTS THAT ARE HEALING FOR THE MIND, BODY AND SPIRIT
The idea for these products started with creating the healing salves. My chiropractor asked if I would be interested in starting a line of salves that were safe and non toxic that could be used on the skin without worrying about chemical ingredients, fake fragrances, etc. for not only her adult clients but babies and young children as well. So I experimented with ingredients and came up with these original salves.
At this point, I just have the 5 formulas available, but more are in the works as well as Sacred Sprays, Eye Tea bags(used for dry eye, itchy inflamed eyes, etc.) and more!
BASIC INFORMATION ABOUT THE SALVES AND THEIR USES:
~The foundational ingredients in each formula are:
Shea Butter-Mimics natural fat structure, anti-oxidant protection, natural skin barrier, locks in moisture
Coconut Oil-Anti-oxidant, wrinkle reducer, moisturizes skin
Jojoba Oil-Hydrates skin, anti-oxidant & anti-inflammatory properties
Castor Oil-Used for centuries as an anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, locks in moisture in skin
Almond Oil-Rich in Vit E, Fatty Acids, anti-oxidant, calms & soothes itchy red skin
Grapeseed Oil-High in Vit E, Fatty Acids, anti-microbial, hydrates aging skin
Beeswax-Used in medicine for thousands of years, inhibits bacterial growth, moisturizes, reduces itch & in
inflammation
~I use unrefined and cold pressed oils, unfiltered beeswax, no chemical processes. Using these types of ingredients also give the salves a rich, luxurious feel as well as distinct smells of the real products. Some people choose to use refined shea butter or beeswax because they do not have their natural smell and as such can compete with the Essential oils odors. I choose to use the unrefined and so you will smell a rich nutty smell with many of them-that's the Shea Butter-and faint essential oils.
~The Essential Oils I use are pure, high quality oils from Plant Therapy(I also sell the essential oils from this company in my store). Essential Oils are parts of plants that when distilled down give us extremely concentrated essential oils. Each oil has many benefits in aromatherapy & topically. Even though you may not smell each oil strongly, they are working on both levels of smell and touch.
~I use Flower/Gem Essences in my salves as well. These powerful yet subtle healing essences are prepared by imprinting the healing energy of various flowers/gems in water. I have been a practitioner of this healing modality since 1995 where I use them mainly for mental/emotional/spiritual balancing. However, when the founder of this healing system, Dr. Edward Bach, first started working with them he also found a physical healing component to them that isn't often spoken about in modern times. That is why I included them in these salves. Usually I make up an essence formula for people and animals to take by mouth, but they can also be used on the skin, in a spray, in bathwater, etc. It seemed only natural for me to include these amazing energetic healing essences in my salves.
~Because most of the salves (except Baby Soft) have Essential Oils in them, please be careful using them around you eyes and sensitive areas. If you get them in your eyes, use olive oil or coconut oil to rinse not water. Make sure you WASH YOUR HANDS after applying them in case you rub your eyes soon after applying.
~You may notice differences in textures of formulas from one purchase to the next-I make small batches at a time so they don't sit on shelf too long being they are real ingredients-so there can be slight differences in the batches. They do melt into your skin so you don't have to use a large amount.
~These salves are not for use on open wounds. There are great products containing herbals like calendula, plantain, etc (one I carry from a reputable company) that are much better for use with wounds. At some point I will create a formula to use in these situations.
~Because of the unrefined nature of the oils I use, these salves will stay fresh about 6 months. If you notice a rancid smell then it's time to buy a new container. I do put a bit of Vit E in each batch as a preservative and many of the oils have natural Vit E within them, but they do last forever like other salves that add chemical preservatives.
~I create these products with intention, Sacred Ceremony and with gratitude for Mother Earth's gifts. What does that mean? It means that I am focused with intention to create products for healing to the best of my ability and am not distracted or rushed while making them. I create them in a sacred space and I am grateful for the ingredients that I am using thanking creator & all involved in making these ingredients possible.
HEALING SALVE FORMULAS
SOOTHE SALVE
Ingredients: Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Beeswax, Jojoba Oil, Vit E with Essential Oils of Thyme, Basil, Palo Santo, Copaiba, Lemongrass, Rosemary & a variety of Flower/Gem Essences
This salve is great for helping calm down inflammations of the skin, soothing stress and strain of neck, shoulders, knees, etc. Apply small amount to effected area. Not for use on open wounds.
PEACEFUL SALVE
Ingredients: Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Beeswax, Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Vit E with Essential Oils of Lavender, Mandarin, Marjoram, Patchouli, Roman Chamomile, Geranium, Palmarosa, Lemongrass, Rosemary and a variety of Flower/Gem Essences
This salve calms & soothes tension, stress and anxiety. Apply small amount to forehead, temples, wrists or jawline, etc to help calm yourself. Be careful around eyes. Use this when you need help to relax-light a candle, listen to soothing music-whatever helps you unwind from the stress.
SKIN RENEW
Ingredients: Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Beeswax, Castor Oil, Vit E with Essential Oils of Ginger, Lemon, Lavender, Cypress, Juniper, Frankincense, Helichrysum, Orange and a variety of Flower/Gem Essences
Use this salve for healing, soothing, rejuvenating the skin-itching, dry patches, redness, inflammations. Don't use on open wounds. I am getting great feedback from people whose work dries out their hands or fingertips and this salve is very helpful getting their hands back in shape!
BABY SOFT
This salve contains all the same ingredients of Skin Renew MINUS the Essential Oils.
This formula is gentle on baby's skin and those with very sensitive skin. For babies can be used for diaper rash, itchy skin patches and redness.
MUSCLE EASE
Ingredients: Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Beeswax, Castor Oil, Vit E with Essential Oils of Peppermint, Wintergreen, Lemon, Balsam Fir, Clove, Copaiba, Helichrysum and a variety of Flower/Gem Essences.
This salve gives deep relief for tense and sore muscles. Apply small amount to area effected. Don't use on open wounds.
These salves are available in 1 ounce and 2 ounce tins. Cost for the 1 ounce is $15 & 2 ounce is $28.
